Obama claims victory interuptus..In short, the Nevada Democratic Party will give the delegates to whoever they damn well please

Jill Derby, Chair of the Nevada State Party, also spoke out on delegates as the results came in. She emphasized that national delegate counts are "based upon an assumption that delegate preferences will remain the same," when in fact they could change at the convention. Derby added a disconcerting line to hammer the point home: "We look forward to our county and state conventions where we will choose the delegates for the nominee that Nevadans support."

Hillary's pledged delegate count lead stands at 210 Hillary to 115 Obama to 46 Edwards

5. Hillary Pic

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Senator Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., greets workers at the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino in Las Vegas on Saturday.

"Interviews with Democratic caucus-goers indicated that Clinton fashioned her victory by winning about half the votes cast by whites, and two-thirds support from Hispanics, many members of the union that endorsed Obama. He won about 80 percent of the black vote.

In the competition for national convention delegates, Clinton won 13 and Obama 12. Edwards was shut out."
