And no concession speech yet. Huckabee has been more gracious than that - how embarrassing!
Anyone see a pattern developing?

in fact we may have even picked more delegates this election! (cue in wild applause).
Clever, Gracious. Inspiring to his people. The opposite of petty. Whining. No class.

11. Are you suggesting that Obama should concede an election HE WAS NOT IN?
How the fuck could he concede Michigan?

He did concede New Hampshire.

You're are REALLY grasping here.

Or are you intentionally misleading other posters?

26. Too bad he was foolish enough
to take his name off the ballot. No body made him do that!
Of course the Michigan delegation will be seated at the convention. Florida will be too.

16. Could not agree more w/ the OP
The OP was right on point.

And, I also thought it was weird Obama had no public schedule today, and on MSNBC, they said he was going home to Chicago, I believe.

17. Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time I would like to concede the Michigan Primary.
Now I know that I wasn't on the ballot. But, considering that Obama also wasn't on the ballot and, yet, is expected to concede...it's highly likely that I too am expected to concede. And so I shall.

I'd like to thank no one for running a great campaign, considering it was illegal to do so, as our primary was worthless. And I'd like to forgive Governor Granholm for going on CNN and telling everyone to vote for Clinton, even though she's not a Michigan resident, like I am. But, of course, I had no idea that I was running, so I can't fault Governor Granholm for not knowing either.

If anyone else who was not on the ballot would like to concede as well, I encourage you to do so.

19. He didn't ask for the recount, and Michigan doesn't count
I am from Michigan, trust me. It Didn't Count!!!

You still got 40$ out to vote Uncommitted (I am one of them) just to try and sour Hillary's meaningless victory. This was done in about 4 inches of fresh snow btw.

AND... he did win more delegates (althought I think the "vote" count is more important)

I suppose this is Faith Based Support. Even when presented with the truth you insist on believing something else.

33. We must concede the NH recount Obama didn't ask for, it goes without saying
So let's concede the hell of a race Obama didn't run in Michigan only if they give us a recount Obama didn't ask for!

It's early but

27. Are you kidding me with this??
A. Obama never asked for a recount

B. Winning IS easy when you're the only viable candidate on the ballot

C. In the primary's winning more delegates is WINNING the primary. Nothing could be more simple to understand.

Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 02:51 AM by themartyred
No need to spin things, at all. ya know, maybe just take those glasses off, back up from the keyboard for a few hours, shake your hair out in the breeze, and relax before coming back.

works for most people, and me.

I would say that Obama is clearly a solid threat to beating Hillary, even if he's lost NH & NV.

A pattern whereby every new post in GD-P makes me less and less proud to be a member of this community.
