The number of whinging winner posts from the Clinton campaign is mind boggling
Sore losers are a sad thing. Sore winners? Stupid and sad. There are dozens of sore winner posts from the Hill camp. Dozens of them. Why is it stupid? That should be obvious; if you want people to form a coalition with you later, you don't keep whining about the losing camp. Winners have an even greater obligation than losers to be gracious about things. But post after post from Clinton supporters makes it clear they don't get it.

And for the record, Clintonians, the first thing I did on hearing that Clinton had won was post a Congratulations thread to her supporters here- as did several other Obama supporters. It may have gotten somewhat lost in the flood of nasty posts spewing out of the Clinton camp.

Clinton is the odds on favorite to win the nomination. Clinton supporters here are the odds on favorites to further alienate supporters of Obama.

Count them up. There have been more lousy winner posts from Clintononians than lousy loser posts from Obamians.

Obviously, not all Clinton supporters are following this dubious strategy, but enough of her prominent supporters here certainly are.

Not too swift. Not too surprising.

1. agreed
I have to agree with you, everytime I think I will just suck it up and vote Hillary if she wins the nomination, someone posts something nasty about Obama or his supporters and I'm completely turned off all over again. we are our own worst enemies and if we can't unite, then we can't win in November. Its frustrating to see Hillary supporters constantly rubbing things in and the endless fights on this board.

Could you point me to some of the more "whinging" posts by Hillarites?

4. Yes
I know. Clinton supporters are supposed to accept any and all abuse, but if we fight back, we're the whingeing, whiners. Fuck that.

6. It goes both ways
While you were/are gracious in your congrats thread, you know there are people on both the Obama and Clinton camps who try to agitate each other to elicit a response. There are those of us who see them for what they are, and avoid them. I am a Clinton supporter, and I know you are not, but as democrats we do have a common goal, electing a democrat to the WH. I sincerely hope when the nominating process is over, this place will return to one of a more civil manner.

I wouldn't feel the need to type angry retorts and put so many people on ignore. Thank you for the decent comments, I wish this site could be a lot more civil as well.

brett has a fantastic supporting cast around him, young, every young, fast, and eager. And damn, he looks younger each week.

really entitles you to this....
I especially love the Huffington post driven "let's write to dean about Bill"
only to get smacked like this by someone more honest
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=132&topic_id=4126093
"As long as the person isn't inside the caucus room when the doors shut--then
it's totally fine.

Please don't email Howard Dean about this. It will look like sour grapes.

Again, I'm an Obama supporter, and Hillary is my last choice--but what Bill Clinton did was fine."

They are not doing political work, they are entertaining themselves by starting flame wars on a message board.

Like that provocative alien that hovered in the air and made the Klingons and the Enterprise crew fight irrationally.

11. One simple question.....
How many Clinton haters will not vote for her if she gets the nomination. Now ask yourself, how many Clinton supporters have said they will not vote for Obama if he gets the nomnation. If you're honest with yourself, and everyone else here, it's not even close. Obama supporters are the kings and queens of selective memory. I have not seen but perhaps one or two who have stated they will not vote for Obama, if he gets the not. On the other hand, the "I will not vote for Clinton under any circumstances" threads are at times, the dominant theme here. Just because Obama supporters got caught whining and crying, and making false accusations concerning Clinton's campaign, don't think the rest of DU is dumb enough to see the ploy here. Better hurry, you're late for practice. The whining choir is getting ready for SC. Your congratulations is phony, and not worth spit. That's proven by your inane choice to include all Clinton supporters in your op, and by your use of the derogatory "Clintonians". Barack Obama does not suffer the same childish prattle from others. It's an Obama exclusive. Thanks.

12. I'm just trying to understand the blind devotion ...and trying to swallow it
if she wins the nomination ...

I am not looking forward to seeing right wing smear jobs again. It was painful the first time and much of it is still hanging around. I was surprised to see Greg Palast address the old Entergy case recently and he's a liberal:

http://www.gregpalast.com/hillarys-mother-fing-tour-business/

This brought back memories I thought were in history.

14. I think those memories will be brought roaring back if Hillary is nominated.
I haven't seen the debunking - I wasn't paying that close attention in the 90's - and I know Palast is not always correct. However next to the implications of the things mentioned at that link, the desperate attempts to smear Obama are minuscule by comparison.

22. Any supporters BUT Obama's are a breath of fresh air compared to half of Obama's DU contingent
I've never seen a bigger bunch of whiners and bullshitters in my life than so many of Obama's supporters here on this forum. It's impossible for me to believe that they can even be rooting for ANY Democrat, let alone Obama who they obviously hide behind so they can smear Hillary from a safe vantage point. Good gawd
