I Afraid The HRC Campaign Might Win The Battle But Lose The War......
HRC & WJC are fighting really hard to win the Dem nomination. Last week we saw race being injected into the campaign and some (what I would consider) insincere backing down as they knew the damage had been done.

If HRC does win the nomination, however, she will need the black vote especially in the South to beat the Repugs. I'm afraid that HRC's campaign has pissed off the black vote and that she'll win the nomination - but lose in the General Election.

President Huckabee - here we come.

2. What I'm worried about with Black voters in general is that for each one
there's at least one other-ethnic voter. So what you buy from Black voters in the South, a minority nationally, you pay for with voters in other groups and/or generations. I know we're NOT supposed to talk about Race, but you did bring it up, and as much as we reject Race as a criteria, other people DO NOT, not necessarily, because they are racists themselves (though MANY are), but because they perceive others making an issue of it, so it becomes an Issue . Believe me, I don't want it to be that way, but THAT IS the way things are. It's called self-fulfilling prophecy and as much as you and I may resist it, it IS still going on. It MUST be addressed if we're going to win. How do we do that without making it worse? First off, "our" candidates NEED to TEACH us about self-fulfilling prophecy. Then, what?

3. This is exactly what I'm worried about too. They're breaking Dem unity, and angering a lot of people
A lot of black folks are going to see it as Clinton fighting dirty to take down the first serious black candidate, and they're going to be mad as hell. Good luck turning out the black vote, not just in the south but also in states like California, Illinois, New York...
