So, How Is Your Family Going To Vote?
If you've been talking politics with your family, what have you been able to gleam from discussions with them about who they're supporting in the primaries - in either party, if some members happen to be Republicans or Independents?

My family breaks down like this....

My dad - Obama
My mom - Hillary
My sister - Hillary
My fiancee - Hillary

You?

4. Me--Obama. My husband, an Indie--Obama.

My Mom, converted from Repub to Dem: Hillary. My dad, lifelong Dem: Probably Hillary. My in-laws--ignoramuses who won't vote for either a black or a woman (yes, they've actually said this), but are inexplicably lifelong Dems--I don't know. Edit to add: my sis-in-laws are both Repubs, and I couldn't give a rat's ass about which R cretin they vote for.

5. Here you go....
Me: Edwards
My ex-husband: Some Repuke. He's gone chassidic-religious and we're not on speaking terms.
My parents: Edwards
My sister: Edwards
Her husband: Some Repuke, which is why she and he are in the process of planning their divorce.
My nephew: Some Repuke (he takes after his father)
My other nephew: Ron Paul (because he's a doctor)
My brother: Kucinich

Is that enough relatives, or you want more? ;-)

6. I'll vote dem in the GE, but I'm not participating in caucus.
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 01:41 PM by CrispyQGirl
None of the top three inspires me & I could give a shit which of them gets the nom. Whoever wins will get my vote in the GE, but only cuz they have a (D) behind their name. But I'll tell you, this is the last year I'm doing that, too. In the future, I'll either not vote or I'll vote for who is the best candidate, even if it's third party. (I'll never vote republican.)

I'm completely disillusioned just like I was back in 1980 when the Iranian hostage situation that was used to manipulate the voting public. :banghead: That was my last election until 2004 & I see that happening again. :puke:

on edit: I'm not sure I can talk my husband into going to the polls. He's even more disgusted than I am.

7. My wife - Hillary
Me - Uncommitted (was leaning Edwards)

I don't know about my mom or Dad, and will ask. But I'm guessing they are both Hillary supporters.
