Obama's Campaign Needs To Stop Whining And Start Campaigning
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 02:18 PM by Yavin4
Full Disclosure: I'm neutral in this primary season, but I tend to lean towards Obama.

Obama had a ton of momentum coming out of Iowa, but lost it all in N.H. With yesterday's defeat(?), he may be on the ropes in S.C. Obama is falling behind because the Clintons are tough, sometimes dirty campaigners. They will not let Obama take the nomination without a knock down drag out fight.

To complain about the Clintons' campaign tactics is a waste of time and shows the inexperience of the Obama campaign. If you cannot handle the Clintons, how are you ever going to be able to handle the Republicans?

3. What an idea!
However, the whining does serve as cover for his attacks on Hillary!

4. Apparently the Obama campaign and supporters are against "winning at any cost"
so, if that's the case they ought to give up now & save the money & trouble. Politics isn't about who is the most polite.

6. I might be naive but i am against winning at *any* cost
If i have to sacrifice my values and standards to win, have i actually won or did i lose?

11. Yes, the others cheated and won
*shrugs* sinking down to their level tho would be the equivalent of giving them a victory by default since the values of the democratic party and its members would be compromised

I would rather fight fair and lose then sink down to republican levels and win

10. Politics isn't a scholarly exercise in ethics.
The real losing begins to happen when the weak good guy doesn't win & the strong bad guy gets in there.

5. Good points.
It seems as though his message got lost in all the dirty politics in play in Nevada. He needs to start inspiring people again. He runs circles around the Clinton's when he does this. The Clinton's have many advantages, but inspirational speakers they are not.

8. The Clintons are better campaigners than any of the Republicans
and would employ any trick in our book or theirs to secure the nomination.

14. He's On The Ropes Because If he Loses SC, Then It's Over
She will effectively win the nomination at that point.
