cut fiscal spending?
i keep hearing the republicans say we have to do this -- McCain in particular. the war in iraq is costing 2 billion a week, but none of the repubs talk about this.

is the war not fiscal spending? is that 2 billion a week just dropping out of the sky?

1. if i could count the amount of elephants that the
repubs have hiding in plain view

and if I could count the number of times congress has chosen not to point them out

I think i might go insane.

3. The Democrats should have a simple response...
No matter how hard we try, we will not be able to outspend or to create more debt than the Republicans.

5. military spending doesn't count as spending
I mean, at least not technically, I don't think. Because I think we'd have a much larger defecit if that was factored in.

But the budget is such a shell game anyway, who knows how much we're really in debt.

7. WHERE? Can we please cut out CORPORATE WELFARE?
Like Giving millions to McDonalds to test market MCNuggets in France?

Because the Social Programs are stretched to the breaking point. Not enough to go around to all the needy now.
