Sen. Barack Obama, whose voting record puts him to Clinton's left on the political spectrum, has impressive rhetorical and organizational skills. He has put those to good use in energizing voters and drawing more young people into the political process.

His optimism and appeals for greater national unity have struck a cord with many. Still in his first Senate term, however, he lacks Clinton's experience, military expertise and knowledge of the world.

And their partial success has seriously freaked out traditional Republicans in Kansas City. At least that's what my parents told me. Aparently the real Republican candidates are all switching to Democrats.

The KC Star has carried every horrible Pat Oliphant cartoon and every sleazy Maureen Dowd column about Hillary. But they also backed Mark Funkhouser for mayor, so I guess their content doesn't always tell the whole story.

right wing OP ED columnists I had ever seen on any newspaper. She was so far right and vile that I canceled my subscription.

We also have a thriving AA newspaper, The Call.

I don't know if the paper is still printing but when I lived in Cleveland, we live about 35 miles East now, there was also an AA paper named The Call and Post. I'm gonna do a google to see it it's still printing.
