4. hnmnf...
The other day, I imagined that you had converted to Edwards?

Perhaps that was only temporary...or perhaps I have you mixed up with someone else.

:toast: either way...

13. The time between his SC win (Jan. 26) and Super Tuesday (Feb 5) will be CRUCIAL
Can he close the gap in that 9 day period? We'll see.

What makes you think she'll be able to start of 2/5?

33. Ok, you live in Atlanta....
...so you should know that NOBODY with any sense takes the AJC seriously anymore - left or right, up or down, it is simply a joke.

Glad they endorsed your candidate, but you should know that nothing the AJC does is worthy of national news.

21. Who the fuck are you kidding?
The AJC is *the* newspaper of record in all of GA. Granted, Repugs don't think too highly of it as they are skeptical of all things even remotely intellectual.

What--you always wait for 'someone else' to raise a topic?

If you find it important, start a thread. That's how it works!

11. They endorsed Kerry in 2004
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 11:09 PM by NYCALIZ
Kerry lost Georgia to Bush 41% to 58%

I was watching newspaper endorsements in the 2004 election.
Didn't seem to predict results

22. there are studies going back to 1980 or so
that say that endorsements have very little sway on the vote.
And in 1980 the number of newspaper readers was probably significantly larger than today.

However I misunderstood the OP. When he said that gives Obama the state I assumed he meant in the GE.

18. That is huge!
The combined paper endorsed John Kerry for president in 2004; in 2000 the Constitution endorsed Al Gore
