Does Edwards prefer Obama to Hillary?
The NY Times has an article online discussing how Edwards is going to continue onward in the wake of Nevada.

On the second page of the article is a suggestion (from the reporter) that Edwards favors Obama to Clinton.

Would everyone agree that this is the case?

If so, will the delegates that he manages to win between now and the convention most likely end up in the Obama column when all is said and done?

Here is the NY Times article:

2. And here's the "hint" in question:

But some political strategists say Mr. Edwards also has another compelling reason to stay in, at least in South Carolina. He could end up sharing the white vote with Mrs. Clinton, thus helping Mr. Obama, whom Mr. Edwards has signaled he favors.

Some political strategists! Not even a leak from someone in the campaign. And how has he "signaled" he favors Obama? He's called BOTH Obama and Clinton the "$100 million dollar campaigners." In various debates, he's both agreed, and disagreed with both at various tmes, depending on the issue.

This is merely a guess by either the reporter, the "political strategists," or both. I have no idea who he "favors." He's vowed to stay in the race, so right now, he favors no one except his own candidacy.

3. Good point!
I'm not sure where this "signal" that he favors Obama comes from.

4. I used to think he was, but i think Edwards is starting
to wake up to Obama being one and the same with Hillary. During the NH debate, he certainly was, but he compares the two as being similar.

6. But do you think he would prefer to see his delegates go to one over the other?
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the coming weeks.

Clearly, Clinton, Obama, and Edwards will all get some delegates. If any two of them wanted to join forces (so to speak), it might serve both their interests.

7. Could Hillary win a majority of the primaries, but Obama + Edwards combine for more delegates?

8. Obama's recent praise of Reagan has likely taken him out of the running. Edwards
seemed to be exceptionally irritated by Barack's comments.

9. IDK
it may depend on what they promise Edwards. He my try and cash in his delegates in exchange for a spot as VP or Attorney General. Powerful bargining chips.
