A few polls on the NY elections today. first the Siena and Marist...now Rasmussen. Enjoy

Monday, January 21, 2008

Hillary Clinton has a twenty-one point lead over Barack Obama in New York State. It’s Clinton 51% Obama 30%. John Edwards picks up 10% of the vote.

Clinton leads Obama by twenty-eight points among women and by nine points among men likely to vote in New York’s Democratic Presidential Primary. The former First Lady leads among virtually all demographic groups except African-American voters.

2. Don't downplay it. Obama supporters thought the race would be tight
when they read this recent NY Times article titled "Obama Giving Clinton a Race in Her Backyard".

That's right. Just 9 days ago, the NY Times estimated that this race was already tight.
