State legislators all over 60 do this. I find it disrespectful to the public they are supposed to be serving. Now in this case, Bill is serving Hillary and not us so he can probably get away with it.

There's absolutely nothing you can do to stay awake. The classic elbow slipping off the armrest make me spew coffee. And the looking at his watch -- too funny!

I would think this would be funny regardless of the candidate -- just a human moment that we can all identify with.

56. America could SO benefit from his statesmanship where we need to repair our image abroad
I would hate to lose the brilliant resource that is Bill Clinton to a down and dirty campaign. Sure, it's probably what he loves best to do, but damn, Bill, you still have a lot to give America and America could sure as hell use that win/win outlook and the charm to sell it to the world again. Hell of a legacy it would be!

No DEM in the Oval Office will get much done without the help of Congress and the International Community. Keep DEM Senators where they are and save American Statesmen for the job that has gone undone for seven devastating years.

Put someone besides a sitting senator in the WH and pull together to fix the mess. Dying of a heart attack in a campaign is no great service to anyone.

At the caucuses, with the reporter and the "voter repression" charges. He's gone from likeable
to curmudgeon (spelled wrong I'm sure). This is coming from someone who really liked Bill and
constantly defended him to my republican parents. I admit, I never liked, nor trusted, Hillary.

...saracat. People (even former Democratic Presidents) who work to exhaustion for something or someone they believe in deserve a break. I may vote Obama...I may vote Hillary...I may vote Edwards...but I love Bill Clinton. He was a good President. Isn't this DEMOCRATIC underground???

It's MLK's son, speaking on the holiday meant to honor his father. Not much boring about that.

130. What is with you people? How can you criticize others for being mean while doing the same thing?
Why do you always have to attack someone else like that? Do you really have to be so mean all of the time?

You are right, Bill Clinton tries very hard to fight off exhaustion and with the incredibly demanding schedule of aiding his wife on the campaign trail, it is no wonder that he nods off from time to time. I know from my own experience that when I have been going and going all day long, the moment I get a chance to sit down, I am likely to fall asleep whether I want to or not. It is a shame that people make such a mountain out of something that isn't even a molehill.

However, with people like you, it isn't good enough to just rationally explain the behavior and the situation. It isn't enough to just say, 'the man is a human being and is exhausted from his job and obviously didn't mean any disrespect' or something to that point. You have to push blame around. You have to make the speaker partially to blame by calling him a bore.

Martin Luther King III is far from being a bore. He is a very interesting talker and is well worth listening to. He is quite undeserving of the insult of being called a bore. What a horrible, mean way to belittle a good man with a good message.

85. I'm inclined to cut him some slack.
Campaigning in is hard work for anyone, and I try to cut all of the candidates some slack when they've been going months/weeks with out much sleep. Although he's not a candidate, he has been been putting in a tremendous amount of time campaigning for her. He is definitely a double edged sword for Hillary. When he's on he's a tremendous asset to her campaign, but when he's not he's a big liability. I don't for a second believe he's racist, but it is a terrible image given the recent mud slinging with Obama. In all honesty, this won't affect who I will vote for on the 12th.

The unfortunate side of this, and it may continue if she is elected, is that whatever he does for Hillaray will likely affect his own legacy. I guess time will tell.
