14. How y'all doing in there? Gotta be a mess trying to figure out what to delete and what to keep.
Some days I think you'd end up deleting half the board if this weren't primary season.

24. Some days I *want* to delete half the board...
but, alas, there are rules to abide by and procedures to follow. To say it is a mess is akin to calling the Titanic a boat. :argh:

We're hanging in there, though :hi:

5. The media and the neocons are reading everything
They can and will use it against the nominated candidate.

Or we could nominate someone that hasn't been beaten up in the primary hmmmmm... like say....

John Edwards?

10. When Obama and Clinton and their supporters are finished
Neither will either of those candidates.

And where do you get the Edwards can't win information?

12. "Why would we nominate the guy who can win?" CAN win.
"Irony is a literary or rhetorical device, in which there is a gap or incongruity between what a speaker or a writer says and what is generally understood."

I think JE can win; has won & stands for something. I think he could put together a great cabinet too.

23. DUH on me!
:dunce:

That is something that does work over and over again. The mind plays tricks on people when you expect something to be one way it can be so subtly opposite and you can't help it.

26. That's alright. I knew you misread. Just wanted to be clear.
:hi:

I guess JE did pretty well at the debate tonight. I didn't see it. I'm hoping the two 'firsts' will slap each other silly & JE will remain as the obvious standard-bearer for a recognizable progressive populism.

7. A distinct possibility
But I don't know that I'll ever regret standing up for people's integrity, dignity and full participation in society, even when a candidate I support turns out to have feet of clay.

16. I guess I'm glad I don't post much.
:hi:
I usually start to reply but then I think, I really do not want to say something
stupid or say it in a way that makes me look like an idiot.

On your point though, I think slugging it out in the primaries is a good thing.
I want to hear the pros & cons of all the candidates.

I read lots an lots of posts. And while I don't always agree with everyones spin
on their candidate, I would never hold it against anyone for speaking their mind.
(unless they are a "freeptard" or "wingnut" etc.)

Democracy rocks, :patriot: and Dems are awesome in their many forms.

This one:

Not really the body of it, but the overall message, about being too hard on Obama supporters. Well, since then, and with the amount of ugliness displayed, all I can say is fuck that, I've been too SOFT on you Obama Supporters. To be honest, you all disgust me.

19. What fucking irony?
All I see is a bunch of assholes who either say this shit isn't a big deal, or simply attack GLBT folks, day after day, and I'm the one being ugly?

22. If the truth hurts, own up to it...
You created an OP talking about "one man did this" etc. etc.

Here's the real deal, you ready? Homophobia is more than just calling gays "faggots", and beating them with baseball bats, it also involves promoting homophobia through excusing it or those who promote it. That concert that Obama sponsored or whatever was NO different than a Klan rally. Why the fuck do you think we are pissed in the first place?

Get that through your thick skull, we attack a bunch of homophobes and those who enable them, and you have the fucking gall to say we are being ugly? Fuck!
