To support Hillary Clinton, a person must believe:
Edited on Tue Jan-22-08 07:33 PM by Wolsh
-That Walmart is a GOOD, decent company

-The War in Iraq was a war worth fighting

-That voter suppression is alright, as long as it helps you achieve your goals

-That John Kerry is a complete loser who has never done anything worthwhile

-That Rosanne Barr is a good spokesperson for your campaign

-That latino people vote as a single bloc instead of putting any thought into their votes, because they will never vote for a black man

-That Jon Stewart is an irrelevant ass

22. sweet!
I used to be one myself (working musician). I'm in tech now, because the $$$ and hours are better. I used to always confuse the authorship of "Daydream Believer" and "I'm A Believer" (Neil Diamond). And still do, to be honest. :)

13. I have to agree
This is empty-headed rhetoric at it's finest. I hope no Obama supporters think this is an effective technique and making friends and earning votes.

15. and that even though
you voted for the Kyl-LIEberman amendment you don't want a war with Iran
and that even though you continue to vote for the Iraq war funding you want us to believe you when you say you'll end the war if elected
and even though you voted FOR the bankruptcy Bill twice you kinda don't agree with what you did
even though you say let's stop attacking each other to your dem rivals you continue to do so through your surrogates-friggin lying hypocrite

23. ...must believe in corporatocracy,
Edited on Tue Jan-22-08 08:02 PM by notsodumbhillbilly
especially as it pertains to the military industrial complex.

Let's just look at the cold, hard facts about the DLC and its record. The DLC has pushed, among other things, the war in Iraq and "free" trade policies, using bags of corporate money to buy enough Democratic votes to help Republicans make those policies a reality. They have chastised anyone who has opposed those policies as either unpatriotic or anti-business -- even as a majority of Americans now oppose the war in Iraq, oppose the DLC's business-written trade deals, and are sick of watching America's economy sold out to the highest corporate bidder. Additionally, in brazenly Orwellian fashion, the DLC has also called its extremist agenda "centrist," even though polls show the American public opposes most of their agenda, and supports much of the progressive agenda. http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0727-32.htm

24. walsh, why don't you take your hatred and stand outside of
wal-mart and I mean go to each and everyone of them and ask the 1.3 million that earn their income from wal mart and ask the employees as they come out ask them if they think wal mart is a good company.MY problem with you and others that are critical of wal mart is what to you have against people shopping at wal mart?

Walsh i guess you going to keep on asking hrc to offer up an apology for her vote, but I will take Joe Wilson's words and my own sight and hearing about hrc and the iraq resolution..So what happened the day after the bill was passed? Hillary Clinton and Robert Byrd went down and submitted another bill which further restricted, attempted to restrict the ability for the president to act. But in actual fact, those who were there are the debate will remember that the American people and the U.S. Congress were sold on this resolution not because the president wanted to go to war, because he said publicly, I do not want this resolution to go to war. I want this resolution so I can get to the United Nations and get intrusive inspections. That's what Colin Powell said. That's what the president of the United States said and that's what they got. They got a resolution that permitted the president of the United States to go to the U.N. and get intrusive inspections. The great betrayal of the America people is not in that Resolution. It was in the president not allowing the inspections to reach their natural conclusions. Her short circuited the process. That is the betrayal of the country. That is the betrayal of the Congress. That's the betrayal of the American people. That's the betrayal of the world. People who don't remember that are trying to spin this for their own particular short-term partisan interest and they should not be allowed to get away with it.

Walsh, give me the facts on voter surpression instead of you saying what obama's folks are saying.

Nobody said kerry was a complete loser. Hell he is a loser in the sense he lost the 04 election. Is that right? Or was that someone else? Maybe if kerry had not went windsufing and dressing up like a sperm from awoody allen movie maybe he could have been more convincing to vote for him. Maybe if he would have taken edwards advice and fought back aGAINST THE swift boat bastards, maybe folks would have taken you more serious....Maybe if you had some loyalty you would have not endorsed anyone in this campaign....yo ass was about to lose Penn. and who did you call? President Clinton who made his first appearance after heart surgery appeared in Philly, oct 25 before 50,000 plus people to endorse you and then a week later you won....

Well seeing as rosanne is american and does have freedom of expression she can say what she feels is right and just. It does seem kinda odd that oprah did not invite hillary on her show as being the first woman that actually had a chance to be president, but i guess oprah did not wanna be upstaged by hillary since hillary is americans most famous woman and oprah is second.....

Now walsh just how do you know that? Sounds like there is some bitterness in your description of latinos.Hillary today got the endorsement of the united farmworkers of america and this is good....If i were a candidate i would enjoy having this much support. Hispanics just like blacks are smart enough in whom they believe will be the better candidate...Unless you think black voters are voting for obama just because he is black...

Kinda hard to think jon is an ass since hillary does appear on the program.....often .....

just my thoughts

26. It's gone beyond t hat...it's Panic on the World Scene and in our Markets that will Elect her...
That other stuff in the "Voters Minds" is like trying to enlighten them about Sibel Edmond's Case.

Many of us out here on the Liberal Internets push Impeachment Petitions against Bush/Cheney and Dennis Kucinich get's trashed and most of America says..."WHO?" :eyes: Most of America doesn't know about ALL THE BUSH/CHENY LIES...they just want a "Care Taker" like Clintons to come in and "MAKE IT BETTER" because they are the people they "know."

Sibel's story and the Bush/Cheney War Crimes will be left up to us to pursue for DECADES! It's what it is. The world ECONOMY is in CRISIS because of BUSH/CHENEY...so we will have to PAY AGAIN..for their Lies and Criminal Behavior by electing another CLINTON...because they are the "Devil we Know" and so we will take a chance on them....

Sick isn't it...but it's what we have to deal with, pragmatically....:-(

27. and the beat goes on...
We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgement of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The change, it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the foe, that' all
And the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war
-----------------------------------

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie

There's nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss
