Rasmussen: Hillary opens up 11 point national lead
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

In the race for the Democratic Presidential Nomination, it’s now Hillary Clinton 42%, Barack Obama 31% and John Edwards 13% (see recent daily numbers). Clinton and Obama are attracting significantly different bases of support. Looking ahead, Obama leads Clinton in South Carolina while Clinton leads in New York, California, New Jersey, and Florida.

19. So did Edwards. Obama says he didn't then he voted to fund it for years.
So what's your point?

32. you can't just cut funding without bringing the troops home
you have to have a plan. The troops on the ground would be the first to suffer if there is a cut in funding. They have to come home NOW.

I hope Senator Clinton keeps getting her message across.

3. Obama has some major work to do
I still think that tommorow or Thursday he should be heading to California. I think he has South Carolina fairly secure. He needs to work on making sure he doesn't get slaughtered by Hillary in the delegate-rich states on Super Tuesday.

16. Obama supporters need to be worried about the racial divide that is forming
He needs to do something about it, or his campaign is going to die on Super Tuesday

25. So do Clinton supporters if she is the nominee
African Americans are the most loyal base of the Democratic party and if they feel the Clinton's exploited race to win there turnout levels may be down and if that's the case Hillary loses the general election. The funny thing is that Hillary may need Obama more in the general than he would need her. I can see her needing him as her running mate. Obama could look elsewhere.

6. Hillary had a 25 point lead...
...and now it's down to 11...even less in some states that will be voting soon.

Every lead of hers has evaporated. When the campaigns roll into states, the
race tightens.

In Iowa, Hillary was ahead by double digits, just week before the early Jan caucuses.

We all saw what happened there.

Hillary also had double-digit leads in New Hampshire and South Carolina several weeks
before those elections.

7. Senator Clinton is getting her message across...Obama's message is lost in the shuffle...
I am glad to see him slipping and her moving ahead. Bill and Hillary have successfully brought into question Obama's voting record~~~his voting record is weak and he needs to be questioned on each and every single vote he missed or voted "present" on.

:kick: and recommend

24. Rasmussen only has Clinton up by five in California (38-33)
that will be the key state on Super Tuesday and it's a virtual deadheat. I think Obama has the potential to win it. I see CA as more a Obama type state than a Clinton state.

26. And in California she's up 38-33
I recall her lead being much larger there.

They also found 13% undecided. I'm not sure what the MOE is but I imagine the Keith number is around 17.

30. typical clintoinian logic

since when does going down from 25 point lead to 11 points warrant "opens up"

in order to examine apples to apples here is the progression of CNN Nationwide polls

http://www.pollster.com/08-US-Dem-Pres-Primary.php

1/17 42 Clinton 33 Obama Clinton + 11

1/9 49 Clinton 36 Obama Clinton + 13

12/6 40 Clinton 30 Obama Clinton + 10

11/4 44 Clinton 25 Obama Clinton+ 19

10/5 46 Clinton 17 Obama Clinton +29

WOW NOW THATS REALLY OPENING UP A LEAD GOING FROM + 29 TO + 11

SHE KEEPS OPENING UP LIKE THIS AND OBAMA IS GOING TO WIN THE STATE FEB 5

Are Clinton supporters so completely insecure that they have to warp the truth on every fact?

"Give me a break that post is the greatest fairy tale I have ever heard"
