I realize that there are people here who are sure their candidate will have it secured by then, but there's no guarantee, especially at this point.

So, what do you think will happen?

It's possible that one of them will bow it. I think it's highly unlikely either will without a fight.

The most likely (IMO) is that each will try and get Edwards' delegates.

It's possible the party will try to coax one of the two out.

It's also possible that it becomes a smoke-filled room scenario and neither of them gets it because their animosity is too great to back the other, but they will back a third person. (Again, unlikely. But you never know)

This scanrio of no winner by the convention is also true for the republikkans as well. But, I'm not interested in exploring whether grandpa moron, the fundie huckster, mitt 'the sh*', ghouliani or ron "I want to live in the 19th century' paul get the nod.

4. Jesus will Rapture the Republicans
Meanwhile, we Democrats will be left on the Earth with the Anti-Clenis, who will rule with an iron hand for seven years.

Then Superman will fight him, and win, and lock him in the same electronic prison where they keep Zod, Xenu, and the living brain of Adolph Hitler.

And then everyone will get a pony!
