funny witty and honest! He cracked Dave up.He more than held his own.He actually enjoyed making fun of himself .And you could tell Dave enjoyed having him as a sparring partner! I think this might have been the best late night appearance by a candidate since Bill Clinton played the sax on Aresenio Hall. The hair tousling moment was a classic.Find the video if you haven't seen this.It is a treat! If you aren't an Edwards fan, you will still enjoy this clip!

1. I loved it when Dave just cracked up!
John has a sort of impish sense of humor that was a lot of fun to watch.

2. John is very quick and his humour is similar to Dave's. And Dave got it!
I get the impression that Dave, who is apolitical, except for his hatred of Bush, really "likes' John. I haven't ever actually seen him warm up to a poltician the way he did John.

3. I've got to at least give him credit for letting Dave muss up his hair at the end -
there's no way Mittens would have let that happen to him. I don't think even I'd let Dave do that - who wants to appear on TV in front of millions with mussed-up hair?

8. It was actually even cleverer than it appeared.John was quoting back Letterman to Letterman.
Dave said to Bill O's face that 90% of what he says is just "crap". Then said "isn't that so Paul?" who said more like 70% and Dave still went with 90.All in front of O"Lielly. So John was making a joke in a joke about Bill's Letterman appearance and Dave got it!

And while we're out having a beer together, we can also have a cogent discussion of global trade policy. And then some nachos.
