To all Edwards supporters...
If he were to drop out of the race after SC (please don't flame me for asking this, just speaking hypothetically), would you be more likely to support Senator Obama or Senator Clinton?

4. Geez
Fine, let's say that he was never running in the first place. Would you have supported Obama or Clinton?

Must I get this nitpicky? :D

2. Not going to happen.... but hypotheticals don't have to be grounded in reality.

5. Neither!!!
I'm only committed to John Edwards, and thankfully he's staying in until Denver and I'll be right there by his side.

Even if he were to drop out, I will still vote for him because a vote for John Edwards is a vote for John Edwards delegates; and in that case I feel that a vote for John Edwards delegates is better than a vote for the anybody else in the race.

7. He isn't going to drop out.
He's flat out said so.

He still has a lot of support, and campaign donations are still coming in, so he has money to do what he needs to do.

People just don't seem to understand John Edwards. He's doing this because he really does care about making life better for everyone. He's rich, he doesn't need to do this. He doesn't owe anyone.

Why would he put himself and his family through this if he truly didn't have the desire to make things better? He doesn't need the money, he doesn't need the job, but there's something deep inside him that wants to give everyone in America a fair chance.

Once every generation or so, someone comes along who really has a desire to help mankind. Martin Luther King was such a man. And I belive John Edwards is as well.

10. I don't think we'll have to make that choice

and if we do, I have not sure what I'll do.

My wife and I were just talking about this a few days ago. After much discussion we decided if it came down to it, we would probably hold our noses and vote for Clinton. We both like Obama, but can't see him surviving the attacks that are going to be mounted against our nominee.
