She became the front runner because she has a great brand name. There are better running shoes out there, but Nike still sells the most units. I'm sure that most people on this board who like Hillary have legitimate reasons. But it seems like she's been talked about as the presumptive nominee since her senate career began and it's all about name recognition.

In any other year I think Obama's newness and freshness would have carried the day but the Clinton brand name still seels, especially amomg garden variety, read not activist, Democrats...

It's like going into Macys and buying a Polo shirt or buying a Toyota or Honda from your car dealer...
