Poll question: Would Impeachment Be Supported By Your Candidate, Should It Be Brought Up In The Next Few Weeks?
Say Kucinich does bring impeachment proceedings against Bush at the SOTU address, like he's claimed he'd do.

How is that going to affect the presidential race?

Wouldn't the candidates have to take a side with this issue? And if they did, isn't it assured that they would all oppose it (well, maybe Edwards would support it).

I mean, I think it would be a disaster. It would throw all the candidates off their game. They would be forced to make statements about it. They'd probably piss off a lot of Democrats by opposing it. Republicans would have a field day with it.

I don't see it as a good thing. Maybe a couple of years ago, but not right in the middle of a presidential race.

But if it did happen, how do you think your candidate would come down on that issue?

will support impeachement, not in the middle of an election, not with one year remaining of Bush's term. And, given that they've had years to get behind it, it's pretty clear that it's an issue of lesser or non-importance to them.

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, et al, and all their Democratic and media complictors will get off scot free.

4. Yes. I believe Lee Mercer would support impeachment of the gangsterism Bush administration
More so, if he can involve Jeb Bush in it.

8. None of them would
they are afraid of Bush and so won't stand up to him. They'd rather throw Dennis and all Constitution loving people to the wolves.

12. Yep, and in view of this I believe that this Country and this World are in ....
Very serious trouble because of this. If the Constitution and laws break down, what do we have left?
