22. How is an 8 point margin embarrassing?
I'll bet Edwards would give his eyeteeth for a victory by one/eighth of that margin.

A victory is a victory, no matter how much some people try to raise expectations to the point that any victory can be spun by detractors as a defeat.

28. It's the Clinton machine which should be embarrassed. Even with
all the nasty dirty campaigning they have been unable to run away with the election.

29. If he wins by that much, that's actually good news for him, genius.
It's more than Clinton won by in NV or NH. duh.

7. Obama's lead is only down 1 point from the last Mason Dixon poll
You mislead people when you try to compare different polls. You have to compare similar ones.

11. That is because he is holding strong with blacks and Edwards' gains are coming at Hillary's expense
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 01:01 AM by jackson_dem
I compared the same poll in another thread. Obama has fallen from 20% to 10% among whites in just a week in the very poll posted in this thread! Only him rising among blacks, Hillary losing 8 points among whites has kept his lead unchanged.

And Obama is losing some ground but the story is the Edwards bump! The best Hill can get is third. That is why she flew back today.

32. OLD NEWS! Edwards is at 21% - Clinton 25%
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 08:51 AM by Tennessee Gal
Obama's edge on Clinton slipped by two points overnight but remained in double digits, 38 percent to 25 percent, in the rolling poll, with John Edwards gaining two points to climb to 21 percent and inch closer to second place.

The poll has a margin of error of 3.4 percentage points.
