The Republicans have shot their Hillary wad. That "debate" was all about Hillary (and/or Bill) Clinton. They expect her, they want her, they need her to be our nominee. It's the only thing they've been training for. They're expecting us to give them what they want, we should pull the ultimate fast one on them and blind-side them with an Edwards upper cut to their plastic jaw.

Ooh...and then I woke up. The media is choosing our candidates anyway. It will still be McCain v Clinton, no matter what the people decide.

1. Nothing will get out the GOP vote so much as HRC as the DEM nominee
The bots froth at the bit to vote against anything Clinton. I don't like it, but it is a reality.

4. Yep, I've heard from a colleague
that he won't vote for Mrs. Clinton, but would vote for McCain. If Edwards were in the race, he'd vote Edwards, who is the candidate he prefers.

2. Yes, I see Edwards as our only hope.
They are ready for Hillary, and they will take down Barack before he gets that far.

They don't have much on Edwards that hasn't already been brought up and explained a million times. And he is the one they fear the most, which is why he needs to be our nominee.

It won't do us any good to nominate someone who can't beat the GOP.

10. I believe that Edwards is our best bet all around. However,
I wouldn't say that he is our only hope. Obama and Hillary would probable win in November.

8. The only thing that will save Hillary in the GE is if the masses catch
on to all the corruption that has been taking place in the White House,(you know, the things that we on DU have known for years), and if the Republican Congress has been seen as aiding and abetting that corruption. Well, more than the Democratic Congress, that is.

In other words, the Republicans have to have a bigger stink factor.

7. I wonder if the media was every really against McCain
or if it was all an elaborate ruse just so they can now promote his "resurrection" as if he is Jesus Christ risen from the dead.

While I am against Hillary, I don't feel that the media is choosing her over Obama. They want a competitive primary. I hope the Repubs stay competitive as long as possible and tear each other apart. Last I checked, Mittens is in the lead for delegates.
