Peter Hart says this negative stuff may help Hillary in SC, Feb, 5th, but "it's not good for the Dem
party or the nation."

Peter Hart, pollster, is Andrea Mitchell's guest following Howard Wolfson on MSNBC. He's the best in the business.

3. Hilary has white,s Women, Hispanics, Asians, all groups.
Will the African Americans splinter and not join the rest. I am sure
that HRC will unify people if they wish to be unified.

5. Obama has hispanics in SC
57%. Funny you don't hear them talking about that.

4. Did you hear her lie with Wolfson?
She just had Obama's guy on and they talked about the radio ad. Then she turned right around and asked about the Clinton radio ad, that was in response to the Obama ad, which she knows isn't true. And she is just pushing this "Obama losing the white vote" for everything it's worth.

6. Peter Hart is a bit nuts re SC and the effect winning has on the next primary's results - but FL is
the next one and Hill will win there so 2/5 will not have that must SC mo affecting it.

Obama has increased his lead from about 4 points a month ago to more than 20 now in SC - hard to use those facts to conclude the attacks have helped anyone other than Obama

ABC's Sam Donaldson writes that Obama aides picked the wrong fight if they thought they could rough up Clinton without blowback. "What did Sen. Obama and his associates think was going to happen when they seized on Sen. Clinton's remark that it took a president -- Lyndon Johnson -- to bring Martin Luther King Jr.'s 'dream' to fruition and let it be known they thought that was discrediting Dr. King?" Donaldson writes.

"But what Obama's camp should understand is that they are up against the most accomplished and potent political machine of the present election cycle: The Clintons have been doing this for a long, long time. They know what works," Donaldson continues.
