How long can the Bush-Clinton dynasty last ?
Will George P. Bush be up to speed in 2016 or maybe Jeb himself.( at 63 he'll be younger than McLame is now ) Chelsea will be 44 in 2024...about the age her Dad was when he became president. If she starts soon, she could have an offspring ready by 2040.( they would probably lower the age from 35 by then, since they will have what's tantamount to "imperial" powers.

I'll be 97 in 2040, so I probably won't care much, but I wonder how some of you feel about this prospect.

3. THERE IS NO Bush/Clinton Dynasty. It is all a GOP talking point,
One Clinton was in the office and all of a sudden that equals a dynasty?

lol

what a bunch of fools we are if we fall for that kind of crap.

what ever happened to the critical thinking skills of Democrats?

27. Like Hell it is.
Who else has been on the fucking ballot since 1980. I have literally not seen a ballot without a Bush or Clinton on it my entire adult life, and I'm 41.

Tell me how that happens in an alleged Democracy.

7. As Hillary says, it takes a Clinton to clean up a Bush mess
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 02:15 PM by quinnox
And Hillary will clean up Bush Jr's mess. After what Bush Jr. has done to America, the Bush name is forever tarnished, they don't want any more Bush's in the White House anymore believe me, Bush Jr. is hated, so the Bush dynasty will end.

On the other hand, A Hillary dynasty? Well, I could live with that.

9. LOL
you are wrong on MANY levels.

First off, Bill Clinton promised an investigation of Iraqgate when he took office, he went back on his word and swept it all under the rug.

Second...Hillary was planning to use Bush sr. as a diplomat to speak in our name ...I guess the Clintons don't think the name is tarnished.

Fuck Karl Rove and his followers....the Clintons.

I'm thinking that at some point, the Clintons and Bushes will inter-marry as the "royals" do in Europe and sire the heir to their dynasty. That would be the anti-christ. LOL!

20. Must see: Mo Rocca's "Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton ... Who Needs Elections?"
Mo Rocca resurrects his ... "Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton ... Who Needs Elections?" piece.

I think Rocca sums up some concerns here:

"There's a pattern here..."

"Even if you think the Clintons are personally beyond reproach, moral paragons ... aren't you the least bit bothered by the prospect of a two-family political system? Of this oligarchical double helix? Isn't this all slightly Un-American?"

You gotta admit, Rocca's pretty funny on this.

Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton ... Who Needs Elections?

Posted Sep 28th 2007 10:11AM by Mo Rocca
Filed under: George Bush, Mo's Videos, Hillary Clinton, Mo Rocca

Suddenly - and FINALLY - people are talking about the problem of presidential dynasties here in America. The possibility of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton (up to 28 years of 2-family rule) is looming with Hillary on the rise. (Add to that 8 run-up years of Bush the Father as VP to Reagan.)

I hate to sound like a smarty pants. But why not? Here is a commentary I taped for CBS Sunday Morning a year and a half ago on this subject. (Hence the references to Jeb Bush as candidate.) Forgive the over-enunciation and the annoying billowy shirt. I was new on the job...
