Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 04:00 PM by Perky
His message should be very simple

"Florida had every chance possible to conform to DNC rules. Voter disenfranchisement is the faultof the state party......I call on all candidates to fight for the restoration of Florida's voting rights once the leadership of the FDP resigns. I asm Barak Obama and I approve this message on behalf of the voters of the state of Florids and I encourage all voters to get out on Tuesday and vote for the candidate of your choice."

Hillary is running a stealth campaing by a direct appeal to Florida voters.

Yes I changed the header from She brok the rules. I changed the content befor I poster and forgot to change the header to reflectthe nes wontent......I made a mistake. I do believe she is now effectively advertsieing in FLorida with the Press Release. She violated the rules.

32. Are the ads shown in Florida?
National vs local does not matter.

Permission from the head of the SC Dem party and lying about permission from the DNC does not matter.

He has campaign ads running on TV in Florida.

So you gonna tell me what rule Hillary has broken yet? Have you had enough time to make up some new bullshit?

We can go around and around on this and it is not going to change a damn thing.

He has every right to advertise on national cable networks. There is nothing in these ads that are geared towards Florida. If it did I would agree with you.

..afterall they allowed their party to get bamboozled into this early primary KNOWING that they would lose the delegates.

No vote no money. Really? Keep it. You guys can't get the votes right down there anyway.

Screw Howard Dean. Really? How about screw the ineffective Florida Democratic leadership that allowed this to happen in the first place.

So sad, all pissed off and no-one to be mad at...

Obama Wrong About D.N.C. Claim

January 22, 2008 12:00 PM

ABC News' Teddy Davis Reports: Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., inaccurately claimed Tuesday that the Democratic National Committee has defended his decision to launch a national cable buy reaching a substantial number of homes in Florida, a state which violated D.N.C. rules by scheduling its contest before Feb. 5.

"The DNC has consistently said that we have not broken that pledge," said Obama.

Obama's claim is not true.

"The DNC has not weighed in on the pledge because it was a pledge with the state party chairs from the four early states, not the DNC," DNC spokeswoman Stacie Paxton told ABC News.

While the Obama campaign has not been defended by the D.N.C., his campaign was told by Carol Fowler, the chairwoman of the South Carolina Democratic Party, that she did not consider a national cable buy to be in violation of the pledge made to South Carolina.

The Democratic Party chairs in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada have not weighed in on Obama's national cable buy. Having already held their contests, the state party chairs in those three early states are deferring to the South Carolina Democratic Party.

Florida is holding its Democratic and Republican primaries on Feb. 29. In order to punish Florida for violating D.N.C. rules, no delegates will be awarded in the Democratic contest.

49. Why would any of the candidate's abide by the DNC's rules?
Especially Obama who claims to have an outside perspective that is not beholden to establishment...

Doesn't this cut to the root of the problem? The country elected democrats in 2006 to send a message of action and change, but instead our representatives have stayed lockstep with the DNC party line. This is no different.

Clinton was right to not pull her name in Michigan - she shouldn't run a stealth campaign in Florida - she should run an open one!
