Why is Obama lining up with an election loser (Kerry) that nobody likes?
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 05:04 PM by Proud2BAmurkin
Nobody likes Kerry, even Democrats. He was at what 2% before Iowa but there was an anybody but Dean wave and he was "there."

Obama makes a lot of obvious mistakes as a campaigner. The thought of that weak of a general election candidate should scare us all.

Then again, all of your claims are bullshit.
If Hillary "Corporate" Clinton is our nominee, you are going to need people like us to vote for her.
You are doing a really bad job of helping her cause.

Right on the heels of the 2006 elections, when Ford lost his Senate seat even as the Democrats took Congress.

make it sound absolutely horrible, ream an allegedly guilty candidate five ways to Sunday for making the alleged call and get away with it because, seriously, how do they link -- and therefore prove themselves as being honest -- to a phone call?

They can't link so you just have to trust them. :eyes: And of course they wouldn't lie, would they?

Obama Supporters -- which I believe this Thread is in response to -- are becoming more and more pathetically desperate with their smear tactics every day. Do you think they realize SC is gonna be Barack's one bright spot?

I'm saying that there are OP's, unfortunately, who might. Why? A chance to say completely hurtful, untrue, ridiculously over-the-top things about a candidate they hate without having to prove any of it. Because it's impossible to link to a phone call, like one might to an article, the reader just has to take the OP's word that it was horrific and very upsetting and, because of it, they'll never EVER vote for said candidate ever!

Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 06:17 PM by McCamy Taylor
I have been wondering why a candidate who was doing great with the youth/change/independent vote would welcome the old fart "can't even work up the courage to contest an obviously stolen election" like Kerry support.

Obama seems better than Kerry. Seems to me people like Kerry are trying to hitch a free ride on Obama's coat tails so they look relevant.

in Mrs. Edwards' book and through ambiguous statements about suppossedly wanting to fight Ohio when they didn't say anything until late 2006 (Mind you that Kerry spoke about this in January 2005, the summer of 05-06 while many big name Democrats were silent).

Especially when the Kerrys have said nothing but kind and classy things about the Edwards'.

Kerry dosen't owe Edwards anything period.

creating a new "fighting" image for himself right after the 2004 campaign. He made promises to Kerry that he broke and Edwards never expected Kerry to endorse him. As Senator Kerry loves this country and is a patriot, he endorsed the person he believes is the best person to lead this country and narrow the divide.

79. Why did Clinton accept the endorsements of McGovern and Mondale
both "losers" by your definition? Obviously, both Clinton and Obama believed the endorsements of major political figures would be assets to their campaigns. I strongly doubt that Clinton would have refused to accept an endorsement from Kerry had he offered it, and would probably have made appearances with him campaigning for her, just as Obama has appeared with Kerry.

I also doubt your contention that "nobody likes Kerry, even Democrats." I haven't seen any recent polling, but I'd be willing to bet that Kerry is a moderately popular figure among Democrats, and only very unpopular with Repugs

86. LOL, what a stupid OP. Many people like and respect Senator Kerry.
And, Senator Obama respects Senator Kerry.
Where have you been? Kerry has a lot of support and people trust his judgment.

90. Wow these Clintonites sure are a bitter folk
Don't endorse their candidate and you will feel their wrath. Kerry courageously served his country, and bravely protested against the Vietnam War.

Hillary Clinton is a bad enough candidate as it is, and her supporters are even more disgusting.
