New Arizona Poll: Clinton 38--- Obama 32 - Edwards 16
Obama can make that up easy!

McCain, Clinton lead in new poll results
Associated Press
Jan. 25, 2008 10:56 AM

A new poll shows the race between Democrats Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama in the Arizona presidential primary is close, while Republican John McCain leads Mitt Romney on the Republican side.

The Phoenix-based Behavior Research Center poll of likely voters was released Friday. It found that Clinton led 38 percent to 32 percent over Obama, with John Edwards trailing at 16 percent. The Clinton-Obama difference was just under the poll's margin of error.

McCain led Romney, 39 to 26 percent, with McCain's lead well above the margin of error. Mike Huckabee had 9 percent and Giuliani 6 percent.

The poll was conducted Monday through Thursday with telephone interviews of 628 voters statewide.

5. I come across quite a few Edwards supporters while phoning and canvassing for Obama in Phx
They're very nice and well-informed and they always want to talk about politics and the race. The Clinton supporters usually hang up or slam the door on us.

I just got a Clinton robo-poll on my phone this afternoon! It gave you options of who you were choosing or undecided. I picked undecided and got a positive message about her 35 Years Of Experience(TM) by her campaign. Now I wish I would have picked Obama to see what it would have said.

4. I already sent my early ballot for Obama. This is great news.
Similarly, about 5 or 6 of my close friends will also be voting for Obama in the AZ primary.
