What's with this "surrender" stuff?

McCain is full of it. Didn't the US military already WIN in Iraq? Didn't they accomplish what the US set out to do? Wasn't Saddam removed, executed. And didn't the Iraqi have an election?
We should have gotten out right after that. Yes, Hillary is right, getting the troops out now is more important. If not, this war is going to bleed the US to death just as the Soviets were bled to death by their invasion of Afghanistan.

It's disgusting to hear them talk about this mythical "war" and the way they discuss it.

If it can even be called a "war" then it's purely a "civil war" between the Iraqi's and we're just there to help whichever side benefits us most.

I'm not really seeing how "Surrendering" something is possible when a) you attacked a nation aggressively and without provocation, not the other way around and b) a "win" or a "loss" cannot really be defined, much less achieved. Anyone who thinks the answer is "Pro-western Democratic Middle East" is ignorant of thousands of years of culture, tradition and religion to know that's not going to successfully happen under the present conditions, if ever.
