Clinton: Give states their delegates

By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, Associated Press Writer 2 hours, 57 minutes ago

WASHINGTON -

"I know not all of my delegates will do so and I fully respect that decision," Clinton said in the statement. "But I hope to be president of all 50 states and U.S. territories, and that we have all 50 states represented and counted at the Democratic convention."
............

Some Democrats have complained that their party is neglecting an important state while the Republicans are waging a spirited campaign there.

"The notion that you disenfranchise a large number of people in these two states is a terrible idea," Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., told reporters on a conference call arranged by the Clinton campaign.

Florida Democratic Chairwoman Karen Thurman said in a statement, "We thank Senator Clinton for her support and commitment to the Sunshine State."

1. Where was Hillary several months ago when this horrible injustice occured
and the DNC stripped these states of their delegates? Oh, yeah, pandering to Iowa and NH. Interesting she comes around to stating this a few days before the FL primary.

3. This is a transparent attempt to reverse something she agreed
to and now realizes she may need those delegates.

4. It's that Howard Dean's fault and not my DLC that set that date
for the Primary. Sure it was in the rules, but they don't count for me, when I'm in trouble of loosing.

She is a pig. And she WILL FIRE HOWARD DEAN and break this party to win.

5. It's a smart move. Again, HC is smarter than anyone else as a campaigner.
You need not turn off people you hope will vote for you IF you get the nomination. She is doing this for the Dem party as well. Come November, we don't need any pissed off voters.

8. I'm in Florida WPB and I support Howard Dean and the DNC!!!
Florida and Michigan cannot re-write the rules unilaterally. This is a party not a dictatorship. The rules were negotiated and agreed upon.

that skunk. She, the DLC and("sell-us-out") Bill Nelson are responsible for the delegates not being seated.

Warning to all those that do not know. The DLC is the wing of the party of Clinton and is strictly against Howard Dean and will destroy this party to consolidate power!

7. Now that I'm winning...the notion that you disenfranchise a large number...
Fucking hilarious. It's Nevada in reverse.

If you think they're not going to vote for you....block their votes at all cost!
If you think they are going to vote for you...break any agreements you had and make sure they vote at all cost!

She makes me physically ill.

11. And what do the other two mighty mouths have to say about this situation?
Obama says: ?

Edwards says: ?

After all, both pulled their names off the ballot in Michigan immediately.

Yeah...it's all Hillary's fault.

15. Obama:
Obama's campaign responded with a sharply worded statement from campaign manager David Plouffe accusing Clinton of "using Florida for her own political gain by trying to assign meaning to a contest that awards zero delegates and where no campaigning has occurred."

18. You know better than that, and I'm done finding links that have been
all over DU just to discount your crap. For anyone interested, google Obama and South Carolina Democratic Party. He got permission for the ads, they're national and there's no way he could have excluded Florida. But nice try! :hi:

12. Absolutely, It's still about Howard Dean and HIS leadership and work that got us here.
Clinton has made the worst mistake targeting Dean ... now it's a blood feud.

Now I have to get real active for Obama.
