Ok, since my man Edwards is dead in the water (srry JE) I'm officially coming out for Clinton
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 09:58 PM by ShaneGR
Here's why:

I'm putting all issues aside at this point, I hate what the Republicans have done so bad, that I want to put Bill Clinton back in the White House. Hillary isn't perfect, but she's far better than those conceited arseholes over in the R Party. I remember what the right did to Bill Clinton, and the ultimate in revenge would be to not only elect Hillary the first female President, the real REVENGE would be to put Bill Clinton back in that big white house.

EDIT!!!!!! Since everyone is so testy around here. I will gladly vote for Obama over any Repug too.

All the Edwards supporters I know will go to Obama (or stay uncommitted) if Edwards drops out -- which he isn't likely to do any time soon. Hillary is WAAAAY too far to the right of Edwards.

Coming in favor of voting rights for the 2 states stupidly punished by the DNC - big in my book too. Thanks for sharing. I need to make my mind myself one of these days.

Edwards is doing very well, though and still has a good shot at winning the primary. Once he gets the nomination, he will do well in the GE.

By sticking with him until the convention, you can force one of the top two (if that's the way it winds up) to be more progressive to get his support, or if a split convention happens, perhaps even get Al Gore recruited to run instead! Don't give up yet!

64. If you give up....
then you are part of the problem. If you believe in Edwards even if you are the only one. I would say that for anyone who really believes in their choice, they should stick with it. What I have seen, the majority of people don't even know why they like someone, apparently they are more interested in being some part of history. Which is sad because this may be the closest we ever come to getting someone in power that cares about the middle class and poor. In the end you are only selling yourself out... not Edwards.
