Poll question: Fellow Edwards supporters, what will you do if he does not get the nomination?
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 10:52 PM by hiaasenrocks
In another thread, supporters of Obama and supporters of The Clintons were arguing over which candidate would pick up the Edwards vote if he drops out of the race.

So...a question for Edwards supporters: What will you do if he is not the party's nominee?

3. I will support the Democratic ticket enthusiastically.
I won't expect as much from Clinton as I do of Edwards, and even less of Obama.

4. I will support the nominee and give him/her money
I have some money set aside for that purpose, and when we have a nominee, I will cut him/her a check.

Anybody who does not support the nominee is not a Democrat and as far as I'm concerned is objectively the equivalent of a Republican voter.

6. will support the nominee, but without much enthusiasm
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 11:11 PM by abq e streeter
but unfortunately, I've gotten used to that. May even decide I no longer will be a registered Democrat if Clinton is the nominee, but still will NEVER vote repub, and will not even consider voting third party, or not voting, at least not this election. The stakes are just too high, and the republiklan party has become so extreme and dangerous, that I will vote for Democrats for every office where one is running. Sadly,if the present is a good indicator of the future, I will probably end up disappointed in most of the ones I vote for, but this is one of the times where I'm willing to support the lesser of two evils, based on the profoundly dangerous level of the greater evil. I do hold out some hope that Tom Udall will be a good senator if we can elect him here in NM. He's been a decent congressman...We also have a terrific Attorney General in Gary King, so at least there's a couple of people locally I can support enthusiastically. Sorry, strayed off the original subject of the presidential race...
