I really don't give a damn who wins South Carolina
and all the tension on DU over it makes me wonder if people have their heads screwed on tightly.

Let me see - We are supposed to give a great deal of attention to a southern state that almost always votes Republican, probably has very few progressive Democrats, has never really meant spit in the Democratic primary process previously, and what?

People in NY, NJ, MA, Cal, etc. are going to be influenced by them? Are you forken kidding?

So my advice to everyone is to calm down. It doesn't matter a catshit who wins South Carolina. The real deal is February 5th and for Chrissakes, anyone who thinks people in those other states I mentioned (and the balance of the other states that will be voting on 2/5) are going to rush to the polls, heavily influenced by what voters in South Carolina do is smoking some kind of mushrooms (or maybe bananas) I never heard of before.

Yeah, sure, we Joisey guys and gals really give a flying fork what happens in SC!

3. Oh my, *** won SC, I must do the same!
Sure! When people in NJ start serving rhubarb pie for desert then maybe they'll follow SC.

6. As South Carolina Goes, So Goes the Nation?
It doesn't quite have that ring to it. Let's please stop the broad-brush insults.

However, I will remember this and be highly amused if SC's primary choice also gets the nomination.
