1. Bill Bradley is a class act. He'd be a huge boost to any ticket, IMO.
If Sen. Obama wins, I believe there is a chance that Tom Daschle will be the veep. Consider the high pro-Obama profile Daschle has kept these last several weeks.

Gov. Napolitano would be an exciting choice.

Max Cleland.

Chris Dodd.

6. Cleland? NEVER.
The poor man has had a massive battle with debilitating and crippling depression. He continues to struggle with it.

He's not a good or a viable pick.

2. It is crazy to have two senators in one ticket
If Obama is the nominee he will need someone with military and/or foreign policy experience.

Which is why Obama/Clinton or Clinton/Obama will not work.

This may have been one of the reason for the Kerry/Edwards failure, even though Kerry could have been counted as the one with the military experience.

3. Be a bit more positive........as it is hard to win otherwise.
I know the Clinton machine is in full roar, but Obama's got quite a bit of fight left in him.

As for Veep Nom....

I'd like Jim Webb?

4. Someone with established foreign policy credentials would be best.
Think Biden or Jim Webb.

12. From my right leaning and harder right family members:
They CAN get behind Obama. They feel he "Hasn't been completely corrupted" by Washington. They like what he says.

The only thing that holds them back is "foreign policy experience". If he balanced the ticket with experience, he would walk to the WH.

13. Both Napolitano and Sebelius intrigue me
In the opinion of DU, would having an AA/woman ticket be too much for voters? My opinion is if a person would vote for Obama despite the fact that he's black, then that person would not mind a lady on the ticket. My bigger concern would be the "experience" factor that so many say they are looking for. I am not so concerned with that, and the bios of these two very impressive Governors would lend even more credibility to Obama's or even Edwards' GE campaign, should they get there. Both Sebelius and Napolitano have wiped out over 1B dollar deficits from their states, without raising taxes. Impressive!

14. Janet!
Napolitano is a very popular Western governor, who stunned the establishment here in Arizona by endorsing Barack. It's heavily rumored that she's on a short list for that spot.

18. it won't be Richardson
he hasn't endorsed anyone and if he was to be VP, it would be for Hillary

I still think it will be a Western governor if Obama is the nominee

Jim Webb would be fantastic on the campaign trail though
