12. Some things the media has been telling us, I want verification to night:
Over 50% of the voters will be AA?
Over 60% of them will support Obama?
Hillary will get 55% of the white votes?
Edwards is distant 3rd? But surging, what does that mean? will they be right?
Obama legitimacy is on the line? implying he is not legitimate unless he gets majority of the AA votes?
...etc...etc.

I guess many of the pundits have had so much to say, would be interesting to see how right or wrong they were!

14. I saw another poll today that challenged that
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 10:14 AM by sunonmars
it said, that due to an overwhelming last minute push, white voters were coming in high in independents and from republicans and were accounting for 55% of the total expected vote and the AA total expected vote was now 45%.

I'd be disturbed if I was on Obama's campaign and that was being said.

I mean what do you make of that, swings and roundabouts here, the exit polls are going to be interesting to say the least.

16. Breakdown of where the strengths for the candidates will lie
Edwards will draw his major strength from upstate SC. Clinton will get hers from the Western part of the state. Obama is *expected* to do well in the rest of the state, especially in the South and East. The key to the election will be in central SC. Whoever does the best there will probably win the election. Keep your eye on that.

23. Polls are not great anymore, with the advent of cellphones without land lines.
If Zogby sticks to "online" polls, that too leaves out a large segment of hte public.

No way to poll as accurately these days. Guess we'll have to wait for the results, like in the olden days!

The map on NYT is excellent ---> http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/states/SC.html

Also, here's a link to the official results, via the SC Dem Party ---> http://www.scdp.org/primary_results/

33. As long as its OBAMA than Edwards that is fine with me

:bounce:

I love John Edwards and believe that it would UP the quality of the debate to see OBAMA run with Edwards to the finish line.

As much as I support OBAMA,John Edwards does not play dirty and that I like.

I am ashamed and disappointed in the "nominee" Bill Clinton.

I didn't know the laws have changed and it is now allowed that Presidents can have a 3rd term.

:sarcasm:

34. Report from Columbia 8:30 AM
Four people voting in Ward 24. Two people voting in Ward 25. (Same location.)
Lots of Edwards signs in the neighborhood.
Come on, you don't expect meaningful numbers at this hour, do you.
