in all honesty, i will (perhaps somewhat grudgingly) vote for *any* democratic candidate who will get the nomination, but it is only Edwards who i would be be comfortable and actually enthusiastic voting for.

sometimes you can get hits 10 calls in a row. Don't give up, take a break and come back.

Sometimes you contact alot of people who are not home or you get hangups, but the calls where you have a live body makes it worthwhile. Everyone will not be for Edwards. However, the calls are important to get Edwards' message out, and get voters out to the polls.

19. I had a lot of that. But just got off with a man who said he likes Edwards, but doesn't think

he can win, so he'll probably vote for Hillary.

Well he had a nice long talk. I told him Edwards can't win if YOU don't VOTE for him...he's the one rising over petty bickering....will bring health care...jobs...unite the country!

I don't know if I convinced him, but I think he's going to take a moment in that voting booth, and remember that call. That made it worth the 20 answering machines I'd gotten (but a couple who had already voted absentee for Edwards, a Clinton voter, and 2 who had voted for Fred last week, but really like Edwards, and would vote for him in the General over all the others).

It's worth it when you get through!

Are you asking them who they supported? I sort of feel like I'm invading their privacy if I ask once they've said that they voted...but it makes it hard to answer all the feedback for the call...thoughts?
