MSNBC: Zogby has Clinton, Edwards tied with 35% of the white vote, with Obama at 19%--not 10%!
A Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll on Saturday showed Obama with a 41 percent to 26 percent edge over Clinton in South Carolina, with Edwards in third place with 19 percent.

The lead for Obama, who would be the first black U.S president, is fueled by his 62 percent support among black voters, the poll found. Clinton and Edwards are tied among white voters at 35 percent, with Obama at 19 percent.

1. Yes, I keep pointing out that only ONE poll showed a decrease in white support...
for Obama, while one or more others did not. But the Clintonistas of course want to spread the impression that whites don't want to vote for Obama (that is much better than the truth, which is that Af. Americans are leaving the Clintons by the thousands).

9. The level of evidence that the MSM requires....
before "reporting" something is pathetic.

The last straw for me was when Dan Abrams "reported" an item from the NY Post's gossip section. He presented it as fact and not gossip, even though there was no source and had already been debunked.

5. Yes, Mark Penn's boys and girls think pitting Gender and Races against one another
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 12:51 PM by ShortnFiery
is the only was for their *illustrious* Clintonian DLC to win a 3rd Term in The Executive Branch.

It doesn't matter how many SCABS are ripped-off as long as "The Goldwater Girl" wins one for The Gipper.

I'm ashamed of my "skin tone" and GENDER - that in Today's America, smarmy political strategists will keep us Chattering Classes at each other throats while they continue to fiscally rape the middle classes ... all in the TRUE CAUSE of Corporations Rule our Democratic Party (and nation), now and always. :puke:

Atwater and Barry Goldwater are so damn proud of the prodigy they have in Hillary Rodham Clinton and their male, "great white hope" native son John Edwards. :puke:

I will not ever forget these deplorable tactics to pit GENDER and RACE against one another.

WINNING IS EVERYTHING in the Corporate United States of America and The Average American is financially screwed. :(

6. That one stupid McClatchy poll is the only one that shows him at 10%.
The media has been pushing that number big time.

It may actually be helpful when/if the numbers come in more in line with the other polls because then it will look much better then only getting "10% of the white vote".

8. We'll see when the exit polls come out.
If Obama is near 20% of the white vote, that's excellent.

10. Fortunately there's not a spot on the ballot where it asks "Are you white?"
So the race split on the voting results will be entirely based on exit polls, which the media will twist and spin however they like.
