MSNBC: JOHN EDWARDS LEADING in WHITE voters BY LARGE MARGIN IN SC
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 02:20 PM by itsrobert
Just now on MSNBC tv. No link. Exit Polling so far. Reported by Kevin Corke who is following the Edwards campaign. EDIT: COULD BE MISTAKEN ABOUT EXIT POLLS. It could be just the "latest" polls. I guess a poll being taken this morning is not the "latest". ;)

23. NOT in Edwards' home state. Sorry.
It would be rude of her to win here.

But is Obama not getting any of the white vote? Some? A little?

and raised in NC.

50. He was .. and that makes SC his home state. I've been away from my
home state for many years, but I still refer to it as home.

44. Does that entitle him to two home states? Who claims him?
My sister was born in NY but now she's calling herself a Californian. I find that ...a tad offensive.

I would never think of voting for someone from New Jersey.

49. Edwards called SC home
When he campaigned there in 2004.

But come to think of it, there's not much about his 08 campaign that resembles 04, so maybe not this either.

Seriously, I think he quit calling it home this time because he's known all along he wouldn't win there. It would look really bad to lose his home state.

Aren't Exit polls supposed to be held back until after voting?

said their polling shows Edwards leading by large margin and if that continues to HOLD UP throughout the day Edwards could end up as a surprise second.

8. I'd like to remind everyone here
That when you only have one batch of exit polls coming out at 2PM, those may only be from one part of the state, a part of the state that may mot be demographically representative of the rest of the state's primary electorate.
