not to bash candidates for things everyone does.

Unlike Democrats, Republicans wouldn't complain about plants, because they know that they all do it.

Unlike Democrats, Republicans wouldn't complain about dirty money, because they know that every candidate has had--and will have to in future--return dirty money.

Unlike Democrats, Republicans avoid taking out-of-context remarks and distorting them, knowing that sets up a crossfire that nobody can win.

Unlike Democrats, Republicans understand mutually-assured destruction applies to campaigns as well.
