There is nothing I would like more than an EDWARDS WIN today.
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 05:06 PM by dancingAlone
Both MSNBC and FOX news are talking about the (slim) possibility of a win and even doing a little projecting on that outcome. (shock)

I know a 2nd is is more realistic and it would also be a great movement in the right direction, imo. That they are actually bringing up his name and talking about him gives me hope for a more reasonable remaining primary season, where our Democratic contenders might be judged on their qualifications for president (rather than their celebrity status).

A win for Edwards would make this race extraordinary!!

Edit: typo

1. A win today would give him momentum.
I'd love that. Second place wouldn't be bad, but first would rock!

4. I agree. I just tuned in here and check MSM for the first time today...
Chuck Todd on MSNBC said Edwards could be the big storyline of the day if he comes in second - everyone in the political world will think a bomb went off if he comes in first!

11. MSNBC...the best place for politics.
:banghead:

I'm hoping that Edwards kicks butt, too! His message is resonating DESPITE how much effort the media has put into marginalizing him. Go John!

I wish he would win, too....really, the party is so behind the curve....You've got "maverick" McCain and "populist" Huckabee perhaps the tickent, and we have our two corporatists ass-kissing Reagan....

17. I'm afraid
the path that Obama and Hillary are on at this point has the potential to do great harm to our party. I don't believe that was either of their intention but it is time for us as a party to put ourselves back on track.

honestly. :) I saw it on the TeeVee. Couldn't believe it. Damn near peed my pants.

Hey. There is nothing wrong with wanting things to turn out right for a change. So, since I don't get a vote in SC I'll be keeping my fingers crossed all day!

20. I'm biting my lip, and crossing my fingers.
He's poured a lot of money, time, and heart into the state.

Let's hope it works out for him.

The squabbling between Obama and Clinton has only benefited him.

As did his debate performance, and focus on the issues at hand.

30. I'm saving the lip biting
for after the polls close - so I'll be starting soon.

I know it seems a lot to hope for but I'm hoping. It's hard to imagine not being turned off by the way things have been going. I hope others are finally seeing it the same way.
