If the count is close, look to the following counties:
Richland County: The biggest Democratic vote count in the whole state in 2004. It's 46% African American.

Orangeburg County: Once again, heavily Democratic and heavily African American.

Marlboro: Smaller than Organeburg and a lot smaller than Richland, but same thing.

Charleston: A lot of the white vote that votes Democratic is in Charleston along with a huge African American vote haul again.

Greenville: A big vote haul just due to its size, but not due to its Democratic make up. This is more evenly split between African American and white Democrats as best as I can tell. As Greenville goes, so may go the state.

These are my guesses as to what counties to look out for, but then again I'm just a Wisconsinite. These are counties to look to incase you want to compare vote counts to exit polls.

I hope my breaking it down by race didn't offend anybody, but since that probably will be the big dichotomy in votes, it is worth noting.
