Which of our candidates would Mr. Smith vote for today?

Why?

2. John Edwards because he continues to speak for the people at the cost of great personal pain
Just like the Stewart character of Mr.Smith, the SC vote showed that NO amount of intimidation will stop him from doing the right thing!

3. Mr. Smith would be played by Barack.
Guess he'd vote for himself?

5. Edwards
It's not even close. He's the only candidate who has specifically and consistantly come out against the corporate lobbyists, and for the people. That takes a lot of courage in today's political climate. It guarantees that the corporate media will villify, or try to ignore him, and both have in fact happened.

6. I would bet money Smith was a die hard old school Republican.
So he'd probably just cry.
