CLINTON RECYCLING ENDORSEMENTS - Kathleen Kennedy Townsend AGAIN!
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 04:26 AM by FrenchieCat
Hillary has the "endorsement" with a 1/27/08 date on it....on her website.
http://www.allamericanpatriots.com/48741481_kathleen-kennedy-townsend-endorses-hillary-clinton

But the announcement of this backing came on 05/07/07, and ever since!

5/07/07
PEORIA -- Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, oldest child of Robert Kennedy, niece of John F. Kennedy, a lawyer and former Lt. Gov. of Maryland, melded details from her own life with the aspirations of the women's movement in a candid and informal talk that delighted her audience.

She spoke to the Peoria YWCA Leader Luncheon on May 2, and met earlier with some of the audience.

She's supporting Hillary Rodham Clinton for president, she said.

Gov Kathleen Kennedy Townsend joined Clinton Deputy Economic Advisor Larry Benn yesterday on a conference call with Maryland reporters to discuss Hillary's plan for stemming the tide of foreclosures throughout the state. During the call, Lt. Governor Townsend highlighted Hillary's plan/b] for dealing with the foreclosure crisis, stating, "This is just an example of why I think she would be such a strong president."

1. "Recycling". Ah, so Obama supporters will shut up about Ted Kennedy, say, Wednesday?

2. The KOS article has her statement made yesterday.
She references Ted and Carolines endorsements.
Whats the big deal?
Kos thought it newsworthy.
Is there a link to her prior statement?

5. She is breathing new life in an endorsements
It is desperation.

She could have reminded folks about it. But Hillary is attempting to make sound new. It ain't.

Is this the kind of spin we can look forward to?

If we get this for the small stuff, I don't want to imagine the spin on the larger issues.

Not good.

7. You mean it took 7 months to write something up?
so it really wasn't an endorsement because she didn't do an oped? Now that's funny!

Hillary's just playing politics.

Trying to soften the blow.

See through and pathetic.

Poor thing. :(

4. Apparently KKT & RFK Jr's Mom likes Obama best

A year later, near the end of Mr. Obama’s first year in the Senate, Ethel Kennedy asked him to speak at a ceremony for her husband’s 80th birthday. At the time, she referred to Mr. Obama as “our next president.”

“I think he feels it. He feels it just like Bobby did,” Mrs. Kennedy said in an interview that day, comparing her late husband’s quest for social justice to Mr. Obama’s. “He has the passion in his heart. He’s not selling you. It’s just him.”

9. It's crazy thinking of RFK as 80.
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 04:38 AM by Drunken Irishman
I mean, I don't think it's possible to even imagine him or John aged. Their lasting memory will be their youth, charm and good looks. I mean, you've got Ted, who's aged and even Ethel and Jackie (before she died), but we'll always remember John and Robert as young and energetic. Yet no matter how hard I try, I can't picture RFK as an 80 year old man. I just can't.

Well, I suppose it is sort of a lie/deception, now that I think about it. Although not an important lie.

11. I am shocked!
Not really I am starting to get the same numb sensation about Hillary's tactics I have of Bushes. At first I was appalled then I was annoyed now its getting to the point where it just doesn't surprise me anymore.

12. It does smell of desparation
Up there with Hillary trying to seat Michigan and Florida's delegates.

I'm really enjoying this election. I had made a bet with my friend in the pub (a Briton who backs Hillary, just because of the name recognition. Don't worry he can't vote.) that Obama will win. I don't think he got the news that Obama crushed Hillary in South Carolina and he came in while I was working. Sometimes the news is delayed a bit here... Speaking of that it's nearly 10 am and I might just walk to the store to get the papers (as many as I can carry!)

British Guy: You owe me money.

Me: Huh?

British Guy: Clinton. (As I'm deaf, and the pub was quite noisy so it's easier to sum everything up in one word... I just get it...)

Me: So you haven't heard yet?

British Guy: What?

Me: Obama won last night! Ha! Suck on that! :-)

It's not over til it's over.
