Listen, I don't have a lot of time, but you some might want to
just do some digging into how Barak Obama is courting the evangelical vote.

I read a bunch last night. I'm on my way to work and don't have time to get all the links, I will at some other point.

But he thinks he can build a coalition with these people.

I don't know about you, but I don't want a president who panders to these whackos.

Haven't we had enough of that shit the last 7 years.

And to those of you who say we need to build a coalition with these people who are not true progressives, because those people want to bring us back to the times of jesus or bring us to amageddon. I don't like it and I think it says a lot about him.

1. Courting is Different Than Pandering
We sure won't bring these people back to earth by throwing hand grenades at them.

3. Hillary only appears to be a centralist because the Right is so far to the Right.
No matter how you slice it, Hillary is right of center. She is no centralist.

4. of for fuck's sake; all evangelicals are NOT fundy wingnuts
furthermore, Obama has a problem none of the others do; he's being smeared as being some Muslim manchurian candidate. I know you'd just love it if he sat back and let himself be smeared. Too bad for you, it's not gonna happen

8. Yes but
Obama also appeals to people who are 5'9" tall. What does this say about the way he secretly views people who are tall-heavier than shorter people? Why would Obama try to introduce this divisive issue into the campaign? And why isn't he speaking publicly about it? And what will the short republicans say?

10. I couldn't agree more
Democrats shouldn't be courting religious fanatics or ANYONE for their religious votes, and that's exactly what Obama is doing.

Many of the world's major wars and problems are because of religion.

Let's try to keep faith private and keep it out of politics like most Democrats USED to do.
