Mika Brzezinski is doing a GREAT job on Morning Joe
trying to make women look stupid, weak, and out of control emotionally......while Joe, the epitome of the dominant species, sits there so cool, calm, collected, and mature, acting like the voice of reason and doing his best to keep his subservient female sidekick under control.

If this "acting like a dumb blonde" routine by Mika isn't choreographed by her bosses, then I don't know what is.

How far will the Republicans go to demean women in this country? They are taking no chances.

2. her visible frustration with wolfson's lies and spin was understandable
how does one politely tell a famous liar, on air, "You, sir, are lying"?
She came close, as close as anyone would these days.

4. Nah, she's putting on a act like she never has before. It's a poor one & she comes off as if drunk
It's obvious what her role is. It's to keep women right where they belong...under the wing of their guardian male partner. That's the Republican view of her bosses who pay her to act so foolish. It's shameful she lets them push her around like that, even though it's all an act.

3. Yeah, her and Schuster allowing Clinton's smarmy Communications Director going on and on
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 08:38 AM by ShortnFiery
MISREPRESENTING Obama's beliefs ... paraphrasing to the effect that "Obama doesn't care about the voters of Florida."

The Clintonian DLC can't stop the "dirty tricks" and love to CHEAT. Any damn thing for their heroine to win. It's smarmy and disgusting but Mika, et. al. giggle and joke with Scarborough wrapping it up to say that they plan to camp out at his house (The Clinton Campaign Coordinator?!?) and order Chinese Take-out.

Oh yeah, Morning Joe is doing a heck of a job ... promoting a 3rd Term for The Clintonian DLC in *OUR* Executive Branch. To the biased pseudo-journalists us "little people" who ACTUALLY VOTE are only along for the ride. After all, it's all about Mika, Schuster, Joe and their political elite cronies - to INCLUDE HRC's CAMPAIGN ADVISOR.

YES, Joe Scarborough said that THEY (The MSNBC "Morning Joe" team)were planning to "camp out" at the home of The Clinton Campaign Adviser!?! How's that for FAIR?!? :grr: :nuke:

6. Zbigniew Brzezinski, is one of Barack Obama’s national security advisers!
Zbigniew Brzezinski, is one of Barack Obama’s national security advisers! This guy is practically the architect of our middle east mess. Read his book "The Grand Chessboard", he lays out the whole plan right there, AND he wrote it in 1998.
So Obama, who is supposedly anti-war, is aligned with one of the most hawkish guys out there.

9. Maybe so, but I'll guarantee you if Barack gets the nod, they'll do the same thing to Blacks
By early next Fall, they'll have someone who is African American taking a bigger role on the show, putting on the same act that Mika is putting on now, just to demean Blacks and make them look inferior. It'll be just as awful.

14. Although I think the statement "Obama doesn't care about the voters in Florida" is too strong..
there is truth to the statement that any smart politician would acknowledge the voters of Florida. It doesn't mean you campaign but you do acknowledge them.

5. It's sad to watch from a woman's perspective: a daughter of an esteemed diplomat, brilliant in her
own right, should "feel the need" to act like a f**king MINDLESS GIGGLING BIMBO. Sure she "slips in" some true insight but it's FAR OVERSHADOWED by *the perceived* need to SNEAK it in when "Daddy's looking the other way." I'm astounded - and I'm not often struck in this manner by an highly intelligent woman's behavior.

She's so much better than that - MIKA grow the f**k up! :(

You are so right. She IS much better than that.

Is it wrong that I love Morning Joe? I find Joe funny and charming, I love Mika too, and that young guy that gives the news you can't use. I used to hate Joe on scarborough country though. The morning format seems to work for him.

12. Oh geez, no. It's not wrong at all how you feel.
Quite often, I like the show, too, and I agree that Joe can be interesting. I like Mika, too. I used to even post how hot I think she is, but this latest role she's taking just doesn't fit her well.

I also agree about the difference between him when it was Scarborough Country and the way he has it now. Just the same, he does get way carried away sometimes with his MO, which is get a Republican elected for President.

I loved it when Paris was released from jail and MSNBC wanted to run with it as the headline, Mika refused to report it, took a lighter and tried to burn the report. She ended up ripping it up to tiny pieces. She subsequently shredded the second report they tried to give her. Saw it on youtube.
