Reagan is over, Kennedy is Back!!
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 02:46 PM by monmouth
As I stated before JFK was my first vote. I named my daughter Caroline, I've had bloody marys with Uncle Ted after Mass at St. Edwards Church on a Sunday morning. The endorsements from the Kennedy family is huge and not given lightly. You can bet this was discussed thoroughly and all ducks were in line before the announcement. The Clintons may be under the impression that they are the symbolic "Democratic Family." Nothing could be further from the truth. The Kennedys are the revered head of the Democratic party and these endorsements have put the Clintons rightfully in their place. I don't know for a fact, but would place a wager that John Kerry, Joe Biden, Al Gore (even now if he were to make an endorsement)and other ole timer Dems quietly do "consults" with Uncle Ted on many matters concerning the party.

I congratulate the Barack Obama campaign and supporters. This is such a huge feather in his cap. MSNBC repeating with clips most of this afternoon, I'm sure.

So you're saying the only reason he endorsed Obama was he didnt want the Clinton taking over as the Defacto Democrat family.

If thats the case, thats piss poor of him. Tut tut and all those people that were complaining about Dynasties in the democratic party.

5. That is NOT what I said at all. I am pointing out the reason this
endorsement is so important is because the Kennedy family has that much influence. Don't read crap into and distort my statements for me...

4. Sure feels that way.
I felt it during the Kerry convention too but the haters and cheaters managed to assassinate us all one more time. This time I don't think they will.

6. I agree that Ted & Caroline Kennedy would do this very thoughtfully...
Ted, for the sake of the party ~ Caroline, in honor of her father.

9. Wait, are you saying this endorsement cancels the reagan worship?
Or is my reading comprehension going down as I spend too much time in GD-P?
