Poll question: Have YOU Volunteereed yet? Will you?
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 03:14 PM by NightWatcher
Namecalling in here does not count as volunteering.
Have you gone to a local candidate's office to volunteer?
Have you participated in an online phone bank to call for your candidate?

I dont care which dem you volunteer for, but we must volunteer in order to take back our country, NOW.

edited for the obligatory "other"

1. I will not be volunteering.
But in my defense, I write about politics on occasion, so it'd be unethical to do so.

2. I drive people to the polls. I haven't firmly settled on a candidate, I am down to two,
and they aren't the current Golden One.

I will volunteer, certainly, but at this stage, at the general.

3. My candidate doesn't have an office
And the other two star candidates will be lucky to get my vote. I will not work for either of them.

4. No, I seem to be the only Democrat remaining who actually likes all three candidates

I will be voting for Edwards here in Missouri on Feb. 5th, but I don't feel so strongly about it that I feel the need to put effort into convincing people to vote for him over the other two, since I think all three would potentially make very, very good presidents.

12. I like all three as well
And will vote for any of them in the general. However, I am sick of the supporters of Clinton/Obama on this board and it will take a lot of soul searching to do anything more than vote for them in the general.

5. My wife and I have talked about it and we don't think we will if it is Hillary
but yes I made some calls for Edwards on Friday.

6. Extensively-
I was a co-captain at the Iowa caucus, as well as Nevada. I spent a lot of time in both states, I've phone banked in all of the first four states, and now I'm helping to organize efforts in Sacramento, Ca for the Edwards campaign.

This has all been on my own dime, with a little help. I have respect with people that speak with their dollars, I have respect for people who speak with their words, and I have respect for people who speak with their actions.

It's the people that sit back and snark, that I have no respect for.

13. Shouldn't you remove you "Impeach" avatar? After all, BO does not think that
George should be held accountable for his crimes.

10. No, because the candidate I support has not been heard and liberal views are
not represented by any (either?) of the possible nominees.

Voting (maybe) is as far as I will go for HC or JE or BO - and then, only if they prove to me that they are actual Democrats. So far, I have not seen any evidence of that.

We do not need Vichy-Dems in power. They did badly enough as the loyal (to Bush) non-opposition.
