2. Possibility, but maybe not a probability
If McCain picks up steam and becomes the nominee(presumptive) on 2/6, then I see Lieberman as VP happening. If the GOP race is still a muddle, I think McCain will need to balance his ticket by putting Huckabee (or another Southern Evangelical)on to get the religious-right excited enough to show at the polls.
