and no responsible Senator would call for impeachment - they're the jury.

Its still the wrong answer.

8. I don't know
I am waiting in my other threads for answers similar in sentiment to yours and asking that very question.

But why does that matter to you? I asked the question specifically of you (not you personally but you as a Clinton supporter). What does the other candidate's views have on what your answer would be?

It isn't really a good tactic to answer a direct, clear question by asking how some other person answered it. If you want to know that, why not ask them, not me?

But okay ...... and that answer, while technically true, holds no water. They're not a legal jury, they're a political jury. There are only a few possible 'sentences' so they can say any damned thing they want.

Have you forgotten Big Dawg's impeachment. The senators were slobbering all over themselves rushing to call for his head on a pike and they mostly all got reelected.

10. She's the same as the other two when it comes to impeachment. Gutless & self serving
None of them even had the balls to say the word or to call for justice being brought to Bush for fear of political reprisal. Wimps, all of them.

14. Well, first off.....
she's Bill's woman. Secondly, who here, unless they have had a personal converstation with Clinton, asked the question, and recieved an answer directly from her, could possibly answer. Same goes for the other candidates. Without personal knowledge it is illogical to expect an answer to your question. Had you given it a tad more thought, perhaps you could have worded it, "Given what you know about Hillary Clinton, what is your opinion on her views concerning impeachment, and your best guess as to why she has not called for it to this point?" Of course the logical answer has already been given, but, in my personal opinion, she is the only one of the candidates who will seek accountability. Now would not only be illogical, but quite a blunder on any of the candidates part. I doubt there are many law enforcement officers who inform criminals that they are coming after them. Thanks.

Although, if it had been an OP about Obama or Edwards and you'd said "your man", there would have been no similar response.

Interesting huh?

21. And since he didn't say....
"your man", how can you possibly know that there would not have been an attempt to inject a little humor in those threads? Around here, it seems, you're expected to be a fortune teller, or think you are one. Like everyone else who is not personally privy to the candidates feelings, and personal opinions, I cannot give an honest answer to the question in the op, without speculating, and guessing, which the op did not call for. Logic is at home crying right now. Thanks.

the easy way out. If you can't recognize a little humor, it is no wonder that you are a failure at asking logical, and pertinent questions. Your reply is a simple-minded dodge. Thanks.

28. You make a career out of taking issue with the minutia and avoiding direct questions?
You know damn good and well what was meant with the colloquial questioning phrase in the OP. To say otherwise is to be an obfuscating liar. And you know it. So get off that horse and answer the question. Or keep up your line of blather and remove all doubt from the minds of those who wonder about your meaning.

16. She will work for bipartisan solutions not gridlock House/Senate
She will stand her ground on party values, at the same time work with the Repulicans to solve our problems, not gridlock the House/Senate in imposing a vindictive policy. Thus keep track on the ball, namely focusing on the issues at hand:

Iraq, education, health care, economy.

20. This OP wasted three separate threads on a question that has been ...
answered several times.

The House Impeaches. Trial is in the Senate. If judged guilty as charged in the Senate, then the Senate removes the parties from office.

The Senate does not call for impeachment. After 10-11 months, Dennis's resolution for the impeachment of Cheney has about 25 supporters. Not sufficient to bring it to the floor for a vote.

24. Hey genius ......
ANYone can call for impeachment. It isn't a formal process. You just point to someone in certain government offices and say "Impeach the motherfucker".

You can do it. I can do it. Osama bin Fucking Laden can do it.

The fact that your candidate is also a senator doesn't mean jack shit to 'calling for impeachment'.

I'm just sayin .......

Discussing impeachment is a "waste" of precious threads?

25. "Their time is comming."
Really? When? is there going to be an investigation in the early days of the new administration? Is there the stom, ach to put a former US president in the slammer?

Or do you mean their time is coming when they're free to cash in bigger than they have and then go to Paraguay to clip coupons? When and what is that time that's coming?

23. Because it is a really, really bad idea!!!
As Pelosi believes, an impeachment circus would lead to fewer Democrats in the House and Senate from the 2008 elections, and a smaller chance that a Dem will be in the White House next year.

26. Oh. Okay. Better to go along to get along, huh?
I'm an old fuck. I can easily say I don't give a shit about the future and won't have to suffer any consequences. But I actually care. Even about those who will be alive after I'm a dead old fuck. And I think that NOW is the time for the line to be drawn in the sand.
