For now.

The Dem party will be unified against the PUKES again come November. Will the Democratic president unite Dems and PUKES?

The last thing any Democrat should want is a Democratic president who has a GOAL of "unifying" Dems and PUKES.

We should be looking for a "great communicator" who can take the case for Democrat policies to the people and sell it, so the PUKES have no choice but to "unify" with US.

There is only one dual-candidacy in this race who has a history of BEATING the pukes three times, and shoving through an agenda even with a PUKE congress by taking the fight to the people.

10. Hmm
I don't care what Fox news says, Romney is not going to be the candidate. It will either be McCain or Huckabee. And both have their own dangers. Huckabee is flirting with being fiscally moderate in a backwards sort of way. McCain still has some moderate appeal, though Colbert and Stewart are ripping that lie apart on a regular basis.

To win in the GE all of the candidates will have to sound a lot more like John Edwards. If they start running fast and hard to the right after the primaries (as DLC Dems are want to do) than the Democrats may throw away a really good shot at the White House and spoil a chance to widen their congressional lead as well.

This is the danger of stupidly glomming onto a candidate for celebrity status. Eventually Americans are actually going to sit down and ask about the issues and if the friggin republican candidate ends up sounding more populist than the Democrat then we lose. Done. Period. It will be the Seawall that stalls and breaks up the "Great Blue Wave" of 2006, this strategy has already worked to an amazing degree with stunts played and fillibusters used continually to thwart and complicate the Democratic record, and our leaderships failure to show courage agaisnt Bush and fear of impeachment proceedings.

11. Oh please
you've spread every nasty hateful rumor you could pull out of your nether regions. You haven't even apologized for your moronic and vile accusation about the music played at Obama's victory party in Iowa. People aren't quite as stupid as you think they are. 99% of DU sees exactly what you are.
