I shook Obama's hand in El Dorado, Kansas today.

I listened to him pledge universal health care for all Americans who want it by the end of his first term, pledge to bring the troops home, pledge to mandate IRA's for all employees with gov't matching funds.

I used to worry that Clinton was unstoppable or Edwards would siphon his votes.

Not any more.

He's gonna win.

I thought, "well, it's not that important to shake his hand, he probably gets sick of having to please people, let somebody else who cares more about it have the honor" etc.

But he stepped forward and reached out to me.

So he really did make the effort to reach out, literally.

My college roommate was from El Dorado, ARKansas. He is going to be pissed if he finds out about another El Dorado (besides Texas and COLR)

It was snowing and a gale force wind . . .

Very enthusiastic crowd.
